PE is taught twice a week. Clinton, our PE specialist, works with class teachers to improve the quality of PE, using Sports Premium funding. Participation in PE is increased through sports clubs and competitions. Children receive specialist training in football skills with our coach Malcolm, in addition to being taught PE by their class teacher. Years 3, 4 and 5 have a term of swimming each year, and Year 6 do top-up swimming to gain their 25 metres certificate. For a half term each year children are taught dance by Abi, our fantastic specialist dance teacher. She also runs a dance and drama session after school each Monday. Information about all our clubs is available here, or from our school office. We successfully participate in a wide range of borough-wide tournaments and represent the borough at the annual London Youth Games. You can visit our Sainsbury's School Games page here (external link). Our school was awarded a 'Quality Mark' by the Association for Physical Education for demonstrating good commitment to improvement in physical education & sport’. Here's some of our amazing wins in recent sports tournaments!
