Friends of St Jude & St Paul's

The Friends of St Jude & St Paul’s School is a small group of people made up of staff, parents and church members who support the school with various activities and social events e.g. Sports Day.  The Friends also hold events to raise money for the school; recent fund raising events include the International Evening where the children and their parents dressed in their national costume and examples of their countries’ food was sold, a Christmas fair and a quiz evening.
The money raised by the Friends is generally used to benefit all the children in the school. Recent purchases include books for the library, a picnic bench and the Christmas pantomime where a theatre company came into the school and performed Puss in Boots.

Meetings are held monthly in the school, normally starting at 2.30pm to enable parents to join the meeting and collect their children when school finishes.  The Friends welcome new members. No specific skills are needed, just an interest in the school and its children.  If you can help please look out for the notices in the school's newsletters, and posters advertising events and meetings.
